I meet the Eurostar and the morning flights from Paris, here's what I'd tell you
Most of you take the train, and St Pancras is where I'll be, on the arrivals concourse with your name up before you reach the barriers. If you fly, it's usually Heathrow or City, a little over an hour in the air. Either way I've followed your train or your flight the whole way in, so a late one changes nothing, and you don't pay for the wait.

Small things worth knowing
- London is one hour behind Paris, so the morning Eurostar lands you here almost before it left.
- Fares are fixed and I'll quote them in euros or pounds. French cards are fine, no cash needed.
- Since April 2025 you'll need a UK ETA to come over, £20 on the official app, approved in a day. Sort it before you travel.
How you'll find me
If you're on the Eurostar, I'm on the arrivals side at St Pancras as you come up from the platform, your name on a board, before you reach the Underground. Flying into Heathrow or City, I'm in the arrivals hall the moment you're through customs, same board. I'll have your train or your flight on my phone, so I'm already there when you are, and I carry the cases from the barrier to the car.
How the fare works
The price is fixed before you travel and it does not move: not for a delayed Eurostar, not for traffic on the way in, not for the time I spend waiting at the barrier. I'll quote it in euros or pounds the moment you tell me the train or the flight and where you're staying. Card or account, nothing to settle in the car.
What Paris clients actually book me for
Usually one of four: a morning of meetings in the City with the car kept on; the Bond Street and Mount Street run with the boot filling up (it always does); a quiet weekend with dinners to get to on time; and in term time, the drive up to a school or to Oxford with the cases. Tell me which and I'll shape the day around it.
Before you book
What if my train or flight is late?
I track it. If the Eurostar or the flight slips, I slip with it and I'm there when you come through. The fixed fare covers the wait, so a late arrival costs you nothing extra.
Where exactly do we meet at St Pancras?
On the arrivals concourse as you come off the platform, on the side before the Underground barriers, with your name on a board. If you'd rather meet somewhere specific, tell me when you book and I'll be there instead.
How far ahead should I book?
A day or two is comfortable for a single car. For a run of days, a group, or anything in school-term season, the more notice the better, but ask even at short notice and I'll tell you honestly whether I can do it.
What car will I get, and how much luggage fits?
A Mercedes S-Class takes three people and their cases in comfort. The V-Class takes up to seven with the luggage to match. Tell me how many of you there are and how many bags, and I'll send the right car rather than the nearest one.
